Changes for audiology include optional new measures for Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) quality reporting in the designated measures set for audiology.
Importantly, participating audiologists who report under MIPS will be required to report under the Promoting Interoperability category effective January 1, 2024.
Audiologists who are part of an Accountable Care Organization will be required to report under Promoting Interoperability effective January 1, 2025.
