Congress is now working on crafting another COVID-19 relief package to follow up on the CARES Act passed last week.

Congress and the Administration have taken many steps to expand the health-care workforce and remove barriers to providing services via telehealth. However, to date, the current barriers in Medicare regarding access to audiologists and the provision of services via telehealth have not been addressed.
